A unique programme which incorporates English language studies with a
Christmas Celebration ‘Australian Style’.
Share Christmas and New Year with a homestay family in tropical Cairns or cosmopolitan Brisbane.
English classes are scheduled in the morning during weekdays and a programme
of social activities, excursions and visits are organised around classes.

Individual students:
7 days :
$1,175.00 (Gross) $1,075.00 (Net)

10 days:
$1,470.00 $1,320.00

14 days:
$1,785.00 $1,585.00

There is an additional guardianship fee of $50.00 per student per week for students Under 18 years old. Airport transfer in Brisbane is an additional $120.00 return.

NOT INCLUDED:- International flights, transport to and from the college each day, lunch during the week when at College, optional extra activities as shown.

The price includes:-
 Orientation and welcome party
 All language tuition
 All Homestay accommodation (This includes breakfast & dinner. It also includes lunch on weekends)

CAIRNS(凱恩斯本校區)
• Pick up and drop off at the airport (the family will meet the student)

• One visit to Wild World Zoological Park & a visit to Bungy jumping (participation is extra)

•Full day trip to the Gold Coast

小女子在下我來到墨爾本，雖然玩樂為重、學習為次，
不過英文還是要在乎一下啦~
如果單純只是想學英文的話，我覺得這樣的成本實在太高了，
對我而言，體驗在國外生活一陣子才是最重要的。

不過因為想要認識朋友、讓生活更順利、想知道週遭發生什麼事情，
所以學習的動力的確變得比較強烈，
再加上年紀大了，不怕丟臉，一切都變得比較敢了。

我唸的語言學校大致上分兩種課程，

一種是GE，偏重說聽，
可用於生活之中，總共是十級(GE10最高)；

一種是AYA，也就是學術課程，為準備考試而設計，總共三級，

不過如果沒有通過測驗，就必須留在原級。

GE5與AYA1的程度相當，只是兩者側重的目標不同。

第一天考完試之後，我被分到AYA2。
學術課程其實是我的代辦幫我選的，我來了才知道，也就上下去了。
我的同學之中，有很多的舊生(已上過好幾個月了)，
甚至有兩個英文系學生(日韓各一)，
所以一開始的時候，我就感到程度有些落後，
心情有些沮喪…還好墨爾本的環境撫平我的失落感，
漸漸地，也比較抓得住學習的節奏了。

我很喜歡我們的老師和課程，非常活潑而且實用，
教學的方法十分有效，讓我不禁遺憾於台灣的語言教學方式，
實在有很大的進步空間啊~

我們每天都有作業，每兩個禮拜要念一本書，
然後口頭報告與寫review，每個禮拜大概寫兩篇作文，
而今天進行了第一次的月考。看起來很重，其實壓力不大，
每天和同學一起學習，我還挺開心的。
我也很喜歡這裡的課堂文化—強調協同合作，而非競爭；
考試是為了知道哪裡匱乏，而不是為了成績。
亞洲國家裡有許多太本末倒置的學習文化。

雖然來到全英文的環境，自己的努力還是蠻重要的，
每天五小時的課之後，還是得多念點書，
然後找機會和別人對話，就會感覺有進步，即便十分緩慢。
所以，會進步多少，看個人情況囉~
不要期待太大，也不要太缺乏自信。

找回那種純粹的學習樂趣，真的很開心！
